A steel-trap designed to hold every fact, tidbit of knowledge, and cool map that Glitter has ever seen, he may be bad at understanding people but he has a vast knowledge of the world and a remarkable skill on the battlefield. He’d be intimidating if not for his constant worrying.

Glitter is the most middle-child, people assume him to be due to his reclusive, quiet, nature and his bashfulness. Contrary to this belief, Glitter is actually the second youngest of the entire original five.

It is almost surprising that someone can talk less than Glitter does, he speaks even less than their leader sister and prefers to observe and listen instead of getting involved in any conflict. Even within their own group he remains the quietest.

Pirates? Raiders? Often Glitter and his siblings are seen as inherently dangerous due to the way they interact with the world around them, it is often a surprise when others learn that they are traveling sell-swords looking for gold and glory. They are surprisingly good defenders, too

Glitter has been called ‘Guard’, ‘Glow’, and ‘Gold’ before as a means of identifying him from his siblings. While the rest of the litter seem to prefer being called Glitter, he seems to actually enjoy being given nicknames.

History

____Glitter was born the youngest of a five baby pregnancy, he has never known a world without his older siblings and they have hardly known one without him. Despite his status as the youngest, Glitter has also always been the biggest of the group and quickly became both the baby of the five and the protector rolled up into one. Their parents were often tired, exhausted, from raising five babies at once and Glitter was the quiet one that got waited on the least due to his lack of whining or crying even as an infant. When the quintuplets started to get older, Glitter quickly showed a nature of being a follower rather than a leader and was the deciding factor in which of the group would become the leader. He never seemed all that interested in their older siblings, or in adventuring, but wherever Glitter went he would follow. Glitter proved, time and time again, to be a bit of a clumsy crybaby who would often get himself hurt on their’ expeditions’ but he was also the first one to step up to take the blame when they got into trouble. He was easily most of his siblings' favorites. Glitter began to wonder what life had for them, but his curiosity would be cut short as the loudest sounds he had ever heard filled the woods and the clearing near home. The Elemental war had found them and despite his desire to hide from it Glitter convinced him with ease to join up when she did.

____To the surprise of every sibling, Glitter became well known in the Lightbinder’s army for being a shield to stand behind. He was the rock that parted the rushing river of foes and he managed to stand when most others would fall. While the eldest two Glitter siblings had been put into a quadrant, and the two middles were placed in another, Glitter was put into a front-line group all on his own and he was the last to hear news of his eldest siblings demise. Retrieving Glitter to escape from the army was the hardest part, him being so far from his siblings, but once they found him he put up no resistance to leaving and merely followed his sister’s lead, as he always does.

Shy

____Quiet, and bashful, Glitter is very self-conscious and will often intentionally fade into the background of any setting he ends up in. He has a lot of trouble with speaking, often tripping on his own words and having to correct himself mid-sentence, Glitter often openly winces, cringes, and fidgets while talking and tries to keep his involvement with social interactions to a minimum when he can. He even seems slightly uncomfortable when speaking with his siblings, quickly agreeing in order to stop having to openly respond, but it is obviously just because of how introverted he is and has nothing to do with how he feels about his family as a whole.

Sweet

____Kind, soft-spoken, very caring, Glitter is a very loving creature who can offer the sweetest honeyed smiles when in the right environment. He’s a friendly sort of quiet, the kind of listen to what others say with attentive eyes and physical gestures while not interrupting. He seems to have only the best of intentions and goes out of his way to try to make others feel better when they are down. If an argument breaks out he will try to right it the best he can without directly intervening, drawing attention, or speaking.

Loyal

____Unconditional loyalty to those who show him any kind of kindness. Glitter is quick to defend his allies, steadfast in his resolve, and a ride-or-die kind of friend who refuses to give up no matter the odds. He doesn’t need thanks, he doesn’t need praise, he doesn’t even need prolonged kindness, it takes relatively little to earn his loyalty and the benefits to having it are many. Glitter is so enraptured by those who so much as smile at him that he can remember little things about them and use it to make them feel better when pressed.

Submissive

____A do what your told kind of guy, he doesn’t raise is voice, he doesn't meet eyes, and he doesn’t speak out of turn if at all. Give him an order and he will do his best to fulfil it and then some, he has no borders as to what he is willing to do and morality is not something that crosses his mind when being led. No matter the situation, he is unwilling to directly go against orders, while he may whine and try to change their mind if it is something that really bothers him he won't actively argue or refuse a command.

Glitter’s warpaint is a messy, smeared, bright sea-foam mess that marks his shoulders, back, neck, and parts of his face like a marked tiger, sharp bright golden lines mix with the rest like a painter in the middle of mixing paints. The paint is often marked by streaky, ran, lines and exertion cracks but it, somehow, adds to his look rather than making him look dirty.

Like the rest of his brother and sisters, excluding their leader Glitter, Glitter uses a sword-and-shield combo. Unlike his siblings, however, Glitter’s sword is a large, curved, cleaving sword and his shield is a massive spiked steal-wrought beast that is almost as tall as he is. His manner of fighting is strangely methodical, willing to take hit after hit while waiting for the opportunity to strike.

As shy, and self-conscious, as Glitter is he tries his best to make connections with people even without speaking. He goes out of his way to interact with people who seem nice and tries to make a good impression, he doesn’t worry too much over making a fool of himself long-term and moves on from embarrassing encounters surprisingly quick.

Glitter would be considered the least attractive of his siblings, but that doesn’t make him unattractive in any means, especially now with how active and ‘statuesque’ he is built. While he has been flirted with on occasion it seems to go completely over his head.
