"I'm going for that chimera!"


"Are you lost, hatchling?" She asks, watching him tussle with a playful micro deer. The spined sky dancer looks up at her.
"No, I'm just playing with King."
"Where are your parents?"
"Back home." She lets the silence stretch, to see if he will offer where home is, but he only goes back to bouncing around the deer, who tries jousting with his stubby horns.
"Are you waiting for them?"
"Nah. I'm visiting King."
"I can't imagine King has a big enough place for you to stay." She says bemusedly. "Would you like to stay with my clan until it's time to go home?" He wrestles with King a bit more, finally pinning the little deer to the ground.
"I suppose." He wanders off after her, her gold gems glittering in the dappled forest light, leaving a very harried deer mother to fuss over her fawn.

Orion has still never mentioned where home was, as it is now by Artemis's side. The two of them hunt as equals, ever ranging, ever mercurial about what they hunt and how. But Orion is the honesty to Artemis's obscurity. Most feel more comfortable approaching him rather than his mate, especially since he will actually hunt with the gathering team. With the addition of Solstice on the gathering team, Orion has opened up into a proud, loyal, if somewhat vain drake. Orion brings in trophies from his kills, Rasa heads with ten antler points, massive Fuiran skins and occasionally Featherback Boar hides.
