Rayden
The Sandstorm Scientist
A quiet-natured and even-tempered dragon hailing from the Shifting Expanse, Rayden came to the Silverwing Castle early in his career as an electrical engineer and researcher. He is used to a far harsher desert environment, and is often paranoid about his creations being ruined by climate conditions that do not apply. On the other hand, he easily forgets just how chaotic the Starfall Isles' magic can be. With appreciation for the deity of his new homeland, he is still devoutly respectful towards the Stormcatcher. He has a poorly-hidden crush on Faye, feeling he can talk to her easily, especially since he has no need to mask Fae mannerisms. Being a few generations older, she politely rebuffs him, but the other scientists find his fluster entertaining and charming. |
