Although Dejira would huff at him, with him being a 'mere' Alchemist (though this may also have something to do with him actually being an Arcane dragon, a sore point for her), Psyche certainly considers what he does to be some kind of witchcraft.

When the familiar of Midas, a dragon with the strange power to turn everything he touches into gold, got too curious one day, Midas accidentally turned her into a golden statue. Horribly distressed, the Pearlcatcher sought Psyche's help, despite him having isolated himself from the rest of the clan for their own protection; many late nights poring over endless possible solutions to reverse the effect of Midas' curse leading to Psyche being the closest thing he has to a true friend.
