She cocked her head, faint smile still fading from her face. She wasn’t sure how to interpret the other dragons’ reactions. All Nasima had done was go up to them and say, “Hello!” When the group had seen her, their faces had lost their color, and they’d all made excuses and left. Was she really that terrifying? She knew she was said to carry a curse, something so deep that anyone who interacted with her would suffer an awful fate… but Nasima hadn’t ever noticed anything. So… why were they still afraid of her? Or was there another reason they avoided her as if she was plague-touched?
