Biography

Of the clan he is the least pious to the Windsinger, preferring the idea that he has control over his own fate as opposed to his fate being tied to a deity he has never seen. He has heard rumors of Windsinger's eternal hunger and as such has shunned the idea of prayer and worship to him. Perhaps things will change when the rumor changes to Windsinger's energy being fully replenished? In any case, that is why Cassander never offered for exalt when Serafina, his progenitor mate, chose to leave him for Windsinger. The rift between them was too great--thus, Serafina conceded to him full control over their clan in favor of becoming ever closer to whom she considered Father of the World.

Tiny and cute but with a tongue like a viper's, Cassander commands the attention of all in a room with energy that is hugely disproportionate to his physical presence. Cynical and confident to a fault, some find reason to dislike him, but he is faithful all the same to his family--his entire clan is his family.

Recently Cassander has been reunited with Serafina, who descended from the heavens upon a vortex of thundering wind. Awed by Serafina's new strength and intelligence, the two had a joyful and intimate reunion where they recommitted to each other's lives. Serafina supports Cassander as the clan chief in every way possible and Cassander relies on her wisdom, knowledge, and fortitude. As a result of Serafina's return, Cassander has rededicated himself to Windsinger. Their relationship has begun to heal and will hopefully continue to mend.

My Progenitor

Cassander has begun to open up his lair to elder dragons from all of Sornieth. Many have left their lairs on new adventures or were cast away when their age turned them into a burden, leaving them undesired. The new Council of the Elders in Cassander's clan has been formed and consists of the oldest of Sornieth's dragons who convene regularly to discuss the future plans to keep the clan at its healthiest. All are treated with utmost respect. Cassander continues to search for elder dragons lost and needing a home.

The Formation of the Council

In effort to better oversee the clan as it grew in size, Cassander formed the Council of the Elders, where all the elder dragons work together for the good of the clan. He himself does not consider himself as a part of the council, but he regularly consults with EmeraldWing and does have a say in final decisions along with his mate Serafina. Things have been going smoothly for the clan and Cassander is optimistic for a bright future.
