You'll hear Elena long before you see her. She's a real chatterbox if you ever met one. Even if there's nobody around to listen, she still talks to herself almost all the time. If she's not muttering, she's humming - it helps her listen.

Elena doesn't have an actual, formal occupation, but her talkative nature and ability to retain information make her the best source of basic knowledge about the clan. She is often the one to show newcomers around and help them get their bearings. Unfortunately she's also rather fond of gossip.

For a dragon that never seems to cease talking, it's surprising how little anyone seems to know about her personally. She talks so much about other dragons it's really hard to get to know anything about herself - she's too skilled at deflecting and swiftly changing the subject should anybody try to pry. Talking about her own life makes her feel extremely vulnerable, and she only reveals that side of herself to those few that are closest to her. Most of her clanmates only know her for liking trashy romance novels and cheap red wine...

When Elena was just a teenager, she left her home clan to look for more exciting adventures, such as the ones in her beloved books. Being young and naïve, falling into the wrong crowd was surprisingly easy. Elena was a brilliant eavesdropper even as a kid, so a gang took her in as a spy. Unfortunately, Elena was also already a terrible blabbermouth. It didn't take the gang too long to find out she was not only providing them with intel but also leaking information to outsiders, a punishable offense as unwitting as it may have been. Scratched and bruised and fleeing for her life, Elena managed to escape. Knowing she couldn't stay or ever return here, she set off to find a safe haven where those after her would never pursue.
