Sinnastrae Elder Council Leader Matriarch Petra, Venerable Scholar of Mechanical Sciences
Born with weak wings, Petra was shunned by and isolated from her birth nest. Rejecting the ancient Guardian tradition to seek a Ward, she and her mate Levas founded the Sinnastrae Clan, a place isolated from politics and the uncertainties of life where willing dragons could study their passions. Petra began learning the art of steam-powered prosthetic enhancements for dragons with conditions like hers, and continues to study the machinery left behind at the end of the Second Age. Equal parts kind and pragmatic, Petra presides over Sinnastrae with unflappable grace and serene authority.
While she doesn't bear her own nests much anymore, she takes great care in guiding the young hatchlings that come to her clan from the Auction House and elsewhere, helping them find their niche the best she can.
She is a longtime friend of Elder Medeina of the Terrepaix Clan in the Viridian Labyrinth, and occasionally the trading of hatchlings occurs between the two clans to keep familial ties strong.
Her Carmine Serthis is named Sidhe.
