Hadrian tries to not let people know about his secret. He isn’t a real dragon, not anymore. He’d been bitten by what could only be called a zombie years ago in the dead of night. He has to wear strong cologne to cover the faint smell of rotting, and wear a thick, dark, cloak to hide himself from prying eyes. He resists the temptation to go after others, only ever infecting small animals to feed before giving them a peaceful end. Though it is difficult to resist his primal instincts, he remembers the blissful days he used to know and refuses to take them away from others.
Hadrian isolates himself in the highest reaches of the spires. Dutifully, he maintains the system of lamps atop the peaks of crystal, tending the wires and bulbs for the safety of nocturnal fliers. He knows though, that sooner or later someone will figure out his secret, and then… well. It will all be over. Facilisi sapien dictum mauris malesuada condimentum. Integer donec eros vitae dis donec. Hadrian strikes me as kind of a neat freak. He has a shelf full of fragrances for one of those room diffusers (covers up the smell) organized alphabetically. Another shelf of technical manuals, also organized alphabetically. You get the idea. His walls are pretty sparsely decorated, aside from a few blueprints, behind one of which is a secret compartment where he keeps fresh bandages & poultices. It's not like he gets a lot of visitors he needs to hide them from, but you can never be too careful.
