x Deep in the woods, far beyond where any mortal dare trod, a siren eternally sings. She sings a ballad of days past, of a lover long gone: His eyes sparkled like the purest springs, his laugh rippled like soft sunlight, and his kindness knew no bounds. But now, now he was dead. He’d been dead for many, many years, but she never forgot about him. Oh! The pains of immortality! Why live forever if she couldn’t live with her love? But on she lived, enduring forever… alone. Forever. Then, one day, as Tintina sang into the soft breeze, she heard a different voice on the wind–a familiar voice–and her heart nearly stopped as she dared to hope: “It couldn’t be him… could it?”

Of course she remembered him. How could she forget? He had loved her so fiercely and deeply, yet gently, and she, him. But it had been so long since she’d last seen him. He had promised her he’d see her again someday, and for a while Tintina had held on to that painful hope, before finally, decades later, she’d given in to the more painful loneliness that had since encompassed her existence. But now here he was. He looked different, but it was definitely him. No other could look at her with eyes so deep and soulful and kind. But there was a problem. He didn’t remember her. He was now called Ezshra, which Tintina thought suited him. His egg had been found alone in the woods by Osharie and her clan, no one knew where he had come from or how he had gotten there, and though he claimed he didn’t know Tintina, there was always a spark of recognition (and confusion) in his eyes whenever he looked at her. Tintina knew she couldn’t push him, and that he’d come back to her if she was as gentle and patient and determined as he’d always been to her. So she settled down in Osharie’s clan and set herself to the task of rebuilding, hoping that one day he’d remember her.

Moon elves are the most mystical and least known variant of the elves. These elves fled to the shadows and have become nocturnal as a way to keep themselves hidden from the outside world. However, this also means that they have become isolated from their cousins, and their nocturnal ways has made the Moon elves more drastically adapted to their new environment than the other variants. Their colors have switched from blue and green to a purplish hue, and their eyes have evolved to a life in the moonlight.
