Sipping his fresh coffee, Cardamom sighed. It was far too early in the morning to be awake. But, when did work care about its victims? He sighed louder when he realized his coffee was gone. He’d probably get another one later. Or maybe two. Until then, he had a presentation to give. Forcing a smile, he walked confidently into the room full of his colleagues. Their company had been doing well, and after the presentation, the manager decided everyone could have the rest of the day off. Finally. Now, he could go back to the cafe and grab himself another coffee, without worrying about anything else.
