Biography
Thamnos Beauvois || Druid Prodigy
The situation with Thamnos is a little complicated. He's the former leader of his own clan, and the reason why many of his clanmates joined the Keep. It was through seeking shelter and protection during their exile from Viridian Labyrinth that Thamnos came across Vista and her undeveloped ambitions. Their goals weren't that much different, and Vista agreed to let him and his clanmates join her soon-to-be established 'clan'. Under her leadership, of course.
Thamnos had no objections, whilst his peers weren't so keen to be handed over to a new leader. As such he is a part of the council, yet due to past trauma of failed leadership, refuses to participate in decision making. Though after many years of the Keeps growth, this matter was long forgotten by everyone involved. He simply attends council meetings out of habit, and for the company. The other dragons trust him and would gladly hear his opinion, but giving opinion is all he's willing to do. At the time, it was lack of life experience that resulted in one foolish, grievous mistake.
And yet, mistakes that ruin livelihoods of those closest to you are wounds that take an incredibly long time to heal, if ever.
You could say it was also a cruel trick of fate that a wildclaw was the dragon to give them shelter and protection, seeing as it was also a pack of wildclaws that contested their territory and called upon a dragonhunt.
Himself, Thamnos is a well accomplished druid with close ties to the other magic users of the Keep. Unusually expressive for a fae, as Thamnos grew up believing he's actually a spiral. To this day he refuses to give up the though. He doesn't even comply with the statement that he's a spiral spiritually - he's convinced that he's just a little short, that's all, but he's absolutely a spiral physically.
Yeah, you could definitely say that he's just a little weird. Or maybe quite a bit. Claiming to be a spiral is neither the start nor the end of his eccentricities. Prone to dramatic outbursts and main character syndrome, he's quite the lively guy when among those he trusts. Shame of his past forces him to be more reserved and dignified in the presence of strangers, even if they know nothing of what he's so ashamed of. Many have spent years trying to help him heal that wound, yet it's a fruitless endeavor.
