______ Three years ago, Farsiris made her home in the Windswept Plateau, joined by her mate, a tundra called Nicodemus. Their family and then their clan grew rapidly, and although Farsiris was the smallest dragon, she was regarded as Queen. Naturally picky, Farsiris never chose the same mate twice, and many of her past mates, unhappy with what they viewed as abandonment, left the clan soon after she had moved on from them.

______ Farsiris loved her home flight of Wind, but Nicodemus was unhappy and longed for the frozen shores of the Southern Icefield. It was Nicodemus who suggested the change in elemental allegiance, and although they had ceased to be mates some time before, Farsiris agreed in the hopes of making Nicodemus happy once more. Once they arrived, however, Nicodemus continued to be unsatisfied, and eventually left to serve the Icewarden.

______ Farsiris adapted to the cold well, and her clan soon grew even larger. Her final mate Otto pledged himself to her and her clan even after it had been made clear she would not stay with him. Out of respect, Farsiris vowed never to take a new mate as long as Otto was in the clan.
