Those who faced Slumber’s sword went to the eternal slumber quickly. He had never lost a battle and he didn’t plan for that to stop. He had stopped being a warrior long ago. Nowadays, he was merely a war machine, thrown at enemies, not even to ‘deal’ with them, but to entirely ‘exterminate’ them. To delete them from existence, basically. And somewhere along the way, his humanity had faded, until there wasn’t even a glimmer of kindness left in his eyes. When that fatal day came, and he was wounded terrifically, no one cared to help him. The healers told him he would never hold a sword again, and after that, why would the army care about him? Rejected by the world, Slumber went on his own. This time, there was a spark of something in his eye. Sadness, relief, or otherwise, only Slumber knew.
