THE FLOCK...

...is Cyrith's local gang of birds that have somehow gained sapience and the ability to speak like dragons. No one knows where The Flock came from or why there's birds of different species flying wing to wing, but most of the time they just mind their own business. Unless of course you anger one member, in which case all their buddies will come divebomb you. One of the few benefits of being a talking bird is that you can get many places and hear many things without being noticed. Do not cross The Flock. They have dirt on everyone in Cyrith, and I mean everyone. Being blackmailed by a hoopoe who is one-tenth your size is very embarrassing. Crime is practically nonexistent in the kingdom above the sky, so most of The Flock's 'intel' is simply mundane things; such as the fact that the local aviarist writes sappy letters to his ex-boyfriend who he will definitely never see again, or that an esteemed councildragon is secretly a massive fan of *those* kinds of cliché romantasy novels.
