Nestled deep within the Starwood Strand, hidden behind trees with sweeping branches and colorful vines, lies a near forgotten clan of old. Cosmos Crypta was once a great and robust clan, home to dragons who were “born with the stars on their bodies.” Here, dragons dedicated their lives to communing with the stars. Some dragons were even born with gifts, and were said to have been blessed by the universe herself. But as time passed, the clan began to die out. Cosmos was too exclusive, rejecting outsiders and those different from them. Some dragons chose to leave, spreading out over Sornieth and integrating into new clans. Still, some chose to stay in their decaying temple, even in destitution still loyal to the stars and the stars alone. Things continued this way until finally, the temple was all but empty. Cosmos Crypta was nearly truly dead, save for a young Skydancer- a hatchling by the name of Freya. She was born to dragons much older than typical parents, who had hatched her in a last effort to save their clan. Freya was raised with beautiful stories of her home, and wished for nothing more than to restore it back to its former glory. Eventually, the skydancer’s parents departed to serve the Arcanist himself, and she was alone. But she still had her dream. Her dream, to revive her home and to open it to any who held the stars in their hearts, not just on their bodies.
