The Aesliennas Clan
The Aesliennas Clan is a matriarchal clan consisting of dragons who are attracted to or born and raised to be part of a clan of kindness, defense, and mercy. Each dragon has their own personality, and the clan is open to all breeds and languages. In terms of languages, they all try to learn at least enough of the mother tongues of their clan members to communicate.
The clan is named after its matriarch and her monogamous mate. The matriarch (Aeslin) is the leader of the clan and has final say on many decisions that may affect the clan, but all opinions are taken into account, and each dragon is ultimately responsible for their own actions in regards to the clan. That being said, Aeslin, Shennas (her mate), and most others will not tolerate anything that will endanger the clan.
Most of the familiars in the clan have been reclaimed from the Shade, but several have chosen this clan of their own accord, and others have been rescued from unfortunate circumstances.
The clan observes a strict no-sale rule, meaning that the sale of other sentient creatures is strictly forbidden. Dragons are rescued from the Auction House when they wish to become a part of the clan. They are allowed to leave freely to go to other clans or to exalt, but most choose to stay.
