Dear reader, Within this book is my life’s work: the study of dragons. Ever since I was a young mithling, I’ve been fascinated by all manner of magical creatures, but dragons always held a special interest to me. As a professor in magical zoology, I've had the opportunity to travel throughout Sornieth observing dragons. I have found that dragons (though often thought of wrathful monsters) are, in fact, intelligent creatures with individual personalities. With the following case studies of dragons I've encountered, I will endeavor to convince you, dear reader, of this fact.
