A small desert village is where the shapeshifting beings of Clan Ayan make their home. Sandstone buildings, rickety stalls and markees selling exotic fruits, silks and treasures. The village is full of people from all walks of life, including those from all flights.
The village is protected by twelve behemoth guardians, huge sculpted dragons who, when called upon, shed their sandstone-like apperance to show glittering crystal cut scales that are almost invulnerable to attack.
The beings usually take a humanoid form, keeping themselves decent with clothing, much like you and me. However, when threatened, they will take the shape of a dragon, often similar to that of the guardians, to fight or escape with ease.
