Long ago, there was a plentiful clan that was small and isolated, but full of dragons who banded together to fulfill their dreams and realize their passions. Led by Carmmadon, a firm but fair leader with a passion for leadership and teaching others, the Avendian Clan thrived peacefully...
After a long period of tension, hatred exploded. Carmmadon's mate rioted against her. The two had problems for a lengthy time, falling slowly out of love and slowly into hatred. Carmmadon's mate felt betrayed by her unfeeling leadership and unwillingness to parent. It was civil war.
Most of the dragons left, leaving Carmmadon alone, childless, friendless, with nothing.
Slowly, she rebuilt, fostering an environment of protection and love. She vowed to lead peacefully, and to relish the chance to be a mother again.
Carmmadon found love, found friendship, and found a new environment where it was possible once again to help dragons support each other, and like the Arcanist on whose territory they live, look towads the stars.
