The Kustos Domain

The subterranean coastal business town of HER Station, the Kustos Domain once boasted a vibrant, neon night life with technological integrations and conveniences at every corner. However, after activation of the OSSA life support framework, it is widely known that this once notable underground is now irradiated with the psychotropic haze of a rogue AI’s dreamscape. This place is now an exclusion zone, however, with the proper suit or remote observation equipment, one can view the unlit, abandoned ruins of a once promising metropolis.

HER Station

The renown Hydro-Electric Reactor station sits in the southeastern ocean of Sornieth. Despite losing 99% of its full-time employees, the Hydro-Electric Reactor Station still stands to be one of the main providers of power across the Shifting Expanse. Recent reports claim its success is due to its specialized researchers and complete automation. The core of the reactor itself is the specially made mechanical body of its creator: SHOVOS – lending to the name of HER Station, whose automated announcements are said to be in her voice, although reports say it has changed as of late.

Watt Analytics

Once the Kustos Domain became an exclusion zone, the few employees who remain work for the Kustos Domain company: Watt Analytics, led by Chief Operator and Operating System: GLADYS. Comprising of small spires standing among the ice floes just south of HER Station, the company is known to combine the expertise of Lightning, Ice, and Light sciences. It’s main exports include cybernetics, robots, droids, surplus exchange, and the production of AI workers, while also a favorite auditing and consulting company of the Shifting Expanse.

Condemned Facility Ruins

The original denizens of the Kustos Domain came from the Southern Icefield, and the work of SHOVOS also began here. Closed off, inaccessible, and all hush-hush are the myriad of underground facilities still used to this day for Stormcatcher-knows-what. Condemned locations undergo vitrification to contain and cover-up past experiments but rumor has it that these locations are still accessible in some way. Secret underground tunnels and shuttle systems connect all zones of the Domain, guarded by both robot sentinels and anti-trojan firewalls. And constantly observed by GLADYS herself.
