Zeldonyx's Clan

Abandoned. Unwanted. Unloved. Alone. Forgotten. Those were words that filled the space around a young Aquamarine whenever she came across other dragons, trying to find her parents. Her egg had been on the coast of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, alone among the sand and shells. Once hatched, she tried to find her parents, her family, her clan, but everywhere she looked she only found looks of pity and unspoken, unsympathetic words. Anger fueled her once she realized that the words were true and she set off to found her own clan. She was still young when she did this and had no one with her. Other dragons like herself soon found her, dragons that didn’t have clans or families they belonged to.

These runaways and forgotten’s grew into a close knit group, relying on each and trusting the others to have their backs. Aquamarine’s anger and fury dissipated. Just because she hadn’t been born with a family didn’t mean she didn’t have one. Her sisters were Dusk, Wieska, Eleuthera, and Cloudchaser and her brothers were Storm, Solaire, and Kurimu. They may not have been biological siblings, but the bond they had went deeper than blood. For them, the blood of the covenant was stronger than the water of the womb. The ragtag group of dragons had banded together, fury and loneliness bringing them together, but their friendship and love for each other had kept them together. Had enabled to them to create a clan.

The Clan of Rolling Tides was a clan of change. The clan’s leaders knew that nothing ever stayed the same for long, that things would change at some point and though you can’t see past it, the wave will reach a crest and eventually fall, as will those hardships and bad times. Knowing this, knowing that they could be accepted and receive comfort and help as their fought their own battles, other dragons soon joined the clan. It grew quickly and with its numbers, its strength grew as well. They were protected from whatever trouble might come knocking and the dragons would respond with a fierceness. Aquamarine’s clan was more than that. Each dragon that came joined not only a clan, but a family. Families stick together, they fight for each other, they strengthen each other. And that’s exactly what the Clan of Rolling Tides did.


Fandragon Tab Lore: A collection of dragons who have wandered into the Clan, claiming to be from different worlds. The ones who share the same distant worlds seem to know each other, despite having arrived in the Clan at different times. Interestingly, individual dragons have no knowledge of others with his or her same name and backstory. Perhaps a glitch in the Matrix? Or is Aquamarine going crazy?
