There was a wandering rumor lurking around the Sunbeam Ruins. It was a small rumor-- not as popular as others would be-- that few would ever get the luxury of hearing.

"There was this... Spirit. A shadow, if you will. A ghastly silhouette of an amorphous creature. It had a voice of temptation... A tone of persuasion... It would selectively, but decisively lure any dragons who had been separated from their nests."

Translucent, given the name "Translucent" on account of the partial visibility of the supposed creature, was a curious being. It constantly investigated the habits and behaviors among dragons of other nests, and adapted accordingly. To the dragons it snatched, it fed them, dressed them, and-- oddly-- encouraged them to breed. It never gave away the details of its existence to the creatures in its care, leaving an ominous mystery to Translucent yet to be solved.
