Earth Dad is so cool


Started with a Guardian, who found his strength tearing away at the earthen ground, seeking refuge from the sun, the deeper he got, he found more than just shade and protection from the elements. Gold ore. With his findings, he started his mining, kept secret and personal to himself, until he could forge the very armour he can be seen wearing now into battle.

Glassblower founded his home in those ore tunnels and tore it open to reveal to Earthshaker himself that he would provide to the dragons who came to him in need. He started the Canegold Mine.
Each dragon has a special trait that makes them uniquely them and Glassblower looks to find the perfect job for every dragon that comes to their home. To call Canegold mine home, you must work to make it home. Whether you like tearing through rock naturally or more inclined to the arts, there's something that needs to be done.

Now an open pit, the various benches of previous excavated levels make perfect foundations for dragons to carve out their own caves for hoards of treasure, trinkets, homes and nests. With the benches of each layer of the mine going deeper into the earth, there's always room for dragons of all sizes. So long as you can work to bring a profit to the clan.

The Mine does most of their business with The Scarred Wasteland and The StarFall Isles. To do business with further, richer territories such as The Ashfall Waste, The Sunbeam Ruins and on occasion, the Southern Icefields meant travel and danger of being pillaged. So only the more experienced dragons go on these trips which are scheduled ahead of time.

The main exported item they sell is Gold. Other items are things they also churn from the Earthen ground; Fossils, Ancient Artifacts, Copper, Iron and Silver Ore, the variety and quality of Quartz and on occasion if there's no use for it, items from the fallen enemies that have sought to take the mine for themselves. Most apparel taken from fallen enemies are melted down and re cast to be given to those who graduate the fighting pits.

If you're to be staying with the Canegold clan, be sure to check out the weekly menu for what's available to eat. The menu changes every three weeks and the hunters work hard to bring enough home from their hunts to be prepared for every upcoming meal. If your stomach requires a bit more care than others, the resident Alchemist can provide a Soylent alternative for you. Mind you, he's a busy Pearlcatcher and you never know what he'll be up to in that lab of his. Tread carefully will you?

Any access into the production side of the mine is Restricted unless under supervision from one of the supervisors and full protection from a mage is required at all times.
