Clan Info

The Clan of the Southern Winds was founded by dragons of the Wind and Fire elements, and as such, the Clan incoporates values from both Flights into its ideals. Intertwining the passion for metalworking and smithing with the love of travelling, the Clan crafts minerals commonly found in the Windswept Plateau into items such as apparel and weapons, and gifts them to dragon Clans throughout the lands. The Clan has a noble ambition, which is to be able to bring about blessing and warmth to others through this unreciprocated kindness - mirroring the symbolism of the Southern Winds.

Out of all the minerals and ores in Sornieth, iron, tin and onyx are the most favoured by dragons of the Clan of the Southern Winds, due to the versatility of these ores. The Clan's blacksmiths specialise in forging lightweight, durable weapons out of these precious metals, often adding a finishing touch to the final product by studding a carefully refined piece of jade in the hilt of the weapon.
