Around you lays the wasteland of the Wandering Contagion. The air is heavy here, but breathable nonetheless.

Further in forms cluster, the very diseased ground shifted and molded upright with what seemed to be a titan testing to move the earth itself. Dens abandoned and collapsed swath the area. It isn't until near the heart life is detected. Perhaps a retreat into the center of living for safety occurred to make the ghost of people past the core of the digging.

The newfound lair provides no different treatment from the world outside, but it is a tad greener, a tad brighter, the air is a smidgen healthier.

Eyes varying in magnitude, predominantly plague, twist about in search for nothing, despite this they chatter, quite a bit. Much so they could be heard before one even entered the lair.

The new arrival is noticed and all fall silent. Watching in anticipation, smalls snarls of uncertainty sparked through the small group. It wasn't until a coatl neared to greet you.

"Well eve," she spoke, her tone varying in an untrained draconian tongue, "I speak this now for it will not be said after, we bare no hospitality to outsiders. What business you seek here will be short with our eyes watching. It is sworn to Plaguebringer herself, aggravate us, and you will know true fear."

The coatl gave no time to let you respond, no question of names, or question the aggressive output. Suppose the time taken should be used wisely with caution. A dozen eyes are watching in every corner.

This is an exalting lair.

Heyo, heyo, still working on this stuff and deciphering how to be fancy and neat like a professional. Despite the broodiness of it I actually don't bite :D
I'm with the FR time, maybe off by a few minutes, but with it regardless. Adding a tad bit more info on exalting, if I put a familiar on a derg, chances are they’d most likely being kept.
