You have sauntered into the tangled wood, despite the darkened region you have yet to become unnerved. The reason for this is because you are traveling with one of your most trusted dragon companions, the reassurance of the dragon's protection eases your fear as you both slowly find yourselves making your way into the Driftwood Drag. Eventually both you and your dragon have slowly begun to become extremely exhausted, and begin to urgently look for somewhere to rest hopefully for the rest of the night, if not for a little while. Eventually your companion has stumbled upon a promising looking cave, you begin to walk in, following the tunnels that have been dug. The farther you and your companion venture into the growing darkness, the more and more your companion seems to be at unease. Eventually you reach an opening covered in material, from the other side is what seems like light, whether its just glowing mushrooms or moonlight you don't know, nor do you care. As you begin to reach out to grab the material and pull it aside, your companion stops you, growling a warning looking more than panicked. You pause as you observe your dragon, before gently petting it as you reassure it. So far neither one of you had seen any sign of possible danger so you were at ease. Once your dragon has calmed down some, you pull back the material and walk into the light from the other side which to your amazement was a mixture of both moonlight and glowing mushrooms. You look around in amazement when suddenly a mirror dragon seems to appear from no where lunging for you as your dragon quickly moves to stand in front of you and protect you.

"Venomhide! That will be enough, they are just travelers, no need to harm them.."

You open your eyes, not even realizing you had closed them to see your dragon still standing in front of you, protecting you, however the mirror dragon supposedly named Venomhide had stopped on command, however resulted to hissing and growling not afraid to show you or your dragon all her teeth. Obviously by the dragon's terms, neither of you were welcomed but walking towards you and your dragon was a woman. She was made of a petite built, with an average sized height, her hair was left down, although it might not be the best idea with dragons running around but it didn't seem to bother the woman. She walked up to the mirror which looked more than pleased to see the woman and nuzzled up into the woman's offered hand. She began to pet the dragon as she turned her hazel gaze to you and your own dragon with a friendly smile.

"I'm terribly sorry about Venomhide's manners, but she does protect my clan very well, so I do ask you please forgive her. But I should introduce myself, My name is Gothic Rabbit, welcome to my clan. I see you and your friend seem very tired, why don't you take a rest for the rest of the evening? I realize it may not be the most luxurious place, but it is somewhere my friends and I call home. You and your friend should find somewhere nice to rest in that chamber, you should have nothing to fear from Venomhide as long as you stay away from my dragon's nests. If you go for those I can't guarantee you will be walking away the way you walked in. Other than any worry you may be having from Venomhide, you should have no worries with any of my other friends, they are all very kind. So is Venomhide, she's just a little more...self confident you could say..anyways, if you find you should have any questions, or would like to simply have a conversation for a little while, please don't be afraid to come find me. Our home is your home as well."

The woman smiles once more, and starts to walk away towards a chamber completely on the clear opposite side as the one she gestured you could sleep in, with Venomhide pausing to observe you and your companion briefly crouching down like she was going to pounce, before running after the woman as she disappeared into another chamber, leaving you and your companion to do as you please. Several hatchlings seem to be running around and playing well a guardian dragon watches over them calmly, glancing over at you before turning his gaze to the hatchlings once more.
