Darkness seems to swirl around you, as you rest atop the large pillar. From the darkness emerges a large female Pearlcatcher, adorned in a bright red. She smiles upon you, but it is not an inviting smile. It does not make you feel welcome here.

The Atrabo clan is a clan of greatness, who reside in a great land. Their home is a palace, every wall of their territory surrounded by appropriately marked pillars. The further you delve into their lands, the more extravagant and flourishing it becomes, until you stumble across the camp. A castle and village stand above a moat, the home to dragons of all kinds. But as pleasant as it may sound, most dragons get a chill down their spine, as they see looming shadelings or a gravely-infected dragon fly by.
For the most part, they won't hurt you. They already have a home and a host, so you are no use to them. However it is unwise to provoke them, or even speak to them at all. They do not have an interest in you, so it's preferable to keep it that way.
The female leads you further into the clan, and it only get worse. You see pitch black dragons spinning and dancing slowly, enthrallingly. Their moves are so slow and deliberate, you can feel a tangible force dragging you in by the neck. However you are stopped as the Pearlcatcher steps between you and the Void Dancers, effectively breaking the trance.
"Don't look at them, and you'll be fine." She purrs gruffly, and you heed her advice. Continuing on along walking with her, you wonder why you art questioning her, demanding answers as to who she is and where she's taking you. But you already know the answer - you're already too far gone. You were gone the second you stepped foot into her territory.
You'd heard about these types of clans as a hatchling. Small groups, who claimed to worship the Voidwaker, claimed it was returning. Mythos said to avoid looking any in the eye, to continue as if you didn't see them at all, and they would ignore you. Make yourself look as feeble and injured as possible, and you would be of no use to them. But you'd forgotten, been frozen in fear, and it had crept up on you. You were helpless to its influence now, as it dragged you along speechless and absent-minded.
You arrive at the castle - or is it a palace? - and are brought into the dungeon. Or what you can only assume is the dungeon. Small pieces of shade whizz by your ear and fly around your head, waiting. The shadelings are all looking for a host. You realize too late that you are it.
