INTRO

Greetings,
We are the Oakmere Clan, a humble clan of the Nature Flight. We live a primitive life here and endure the many hardships that come with it, however, it allows us to grow closer to the Gladekeeper. She has not only blessed this clan with an abundance of life, but also the will and ability to stand strong and firm, like an oak, as we spread our branches towards the sun. Although some of our members are from different Flights, we are loyal only to our Glademother.

LAIR

The Oakmere's lair is in the southwestern part of the Viridian Labyrinth near the border of the Sunbeam Ruins. In the heart of their territory lies three giant, great oaks. Their vast, sprawling limbs intertwine with one another and are strong enough to support twenty Guardians. High up in the trees' canopy, the dragons expertly weave their nests out of branches and the softest leaves to sleep in. The Healer's herbs and medicine are stashed away in a tree hole near his/her nest. On stormy days, a nearby beautiful, mossy cavern shelters the clan. The cave has many rooms and secret tunnels that have yet to be explored.

HISTORY

The history of the Oakmeres is paved with tales of strength, courage, friendship, and tragic loss. After being exiled from his clan, Lichen foresaw the grand Tri-Oaks in a dream as place to start anew and so, with Embyr by his side, he searched the all of the Virdian Labyrinth for the fabled place. The day that Lichen found the Tri-Oaks was the day that the Oakmere Clan was born. As the clan grew, so did the territory, and their might. They fought to protect their hatchlings and way of life, enduring vicious raids from Beastclans that have took the life of clan members and countered threats from rivals. Following the ways of the Gladekeeper, they tend to her land, caring for the kind flora and fauna that live with in their territory.
