DragonOFlames' Clan

The day the Wandering Contagion first started to encroach on Dragonhome was an important one, monumental, really. The dragons of the Earth flight struck out like a great hammer at Plague despite how small a tendril had been extended. The Plaguebringer’s dragons could hardly do less than answer them with all their might.

The resulting battle halted the Contagion’s spread for the moment, and shattered many clans on both sides. The combat devastated the border, carving new valleys into stone, crumbling fortresses and communities.

The clan’s lair was built into a new ravine laid in the ground, ready to be expanded easily thanks to rot sinking into veins of the earth, eating away. Since the clan formed in the wake of the battle, the lair’s structure and roof have been covered over and supplemented with rubble and ruin from nearby Dragonhome.

Statues, half shattered roofs, and columns have been welded, propped, bound, and otherwise shaped together to secure the ravine and to help decorate it with reminders of conquest and victory in the years ahead. There is something like a great hall at the ravine’s mouth, a place that is quite defensible by the clan’s defenders, it makes for a good receiving area, before massive carved stairs lead down into the lair itself and the many dens and chambers contained within.

From inside hints of daylight, starlight, and even rivulets of rain can peek through the makeshift ceiling, leaving the area forever bound in a sort of underground twilight.
