This is a matriarchical lair of Skydancers. They had settled in the shrieking wilds and colonized a glade in an older forest of aspen and oak.
Then came a young male skydancer that changed the contented minds of the clan members. His ambition and aggression contaiminated the younger, restless dragons. Many dragons left, and many babies were sent to the Gladekeeper, or smuggled to other clans.
After much conflict and disruption, the clan has left to start over, settling in the Blacksand Annex within a well protected cleft of mountains. Dirge has now been driven out, his eldest son, Cassanova assuming alpha role.
