Dragons of the Stormwake customarily have two names; one of which is their 'true name,' taken on in adulthood and which generally refers to some ideal or aspiration, commonly from Gaian (human) myth (e.g. Hermes, Agni, Samhain), and the other of which is their 'common name,' which tends to be much shorter and simpler (e.g. Sai, Hale), sometimes descriptive (e.g. Shrike, Gale), and is what most dragons actually go by.To paraphrase my gf's reaction to it: 'yes hello, this is my elder god name, but you can call me Steve.'
Unnamed exalts will be named Ambrosia or Amrita ('immortality' in Ancient Greek and Sanskrit respectively; refers to the food or drink of the Greek gods [Ambrosia] or of the devas [Amrita]).
('Stormwake' both bc it sounds cool imo and also bc I started out in Lightning, so my clan is after the storm, i.e. in the wake of the storm)
