Those born into the Clan of the Forgotten Earth are accustomed to the dry, crisp air of mountaintops, and the clear views of constellations and star clusters. Their souls sing when they ascend above the clouds. Travelers flitter in and out between this clan, coming and going among the rolling hills, rugged mountain peaks, and chortling streams, but always finding a pleasant breezy place to come back to, full of joy and light and pots of tea that are filled with astral lace and moondust. It's a wonder that anyone ever leaves at all.

Those who stay are drawn to the grand library, the alchemical laboratories, the wonderous promenade of shops, and the palace of the Inner Court, where the Queen Mother presides over her clan with grace and gentility.
