The Gladeguard clan is back!!

This is an exalting lair! Dragons to be exalted will only be found in either my Nursery or the Transients tab. Dragons with familiars will not be exalted.

The Gladeguard Clan

Long-time residents of Sornieth, this clan grew from obscurity to prominence over the span of many years. Beginning with Oriasis and Sylce, their caring nature has been the guiding principle that governs the clan. Always open to the outcasts and the freaks, there's always room for dragons in need.

Beyond the hospitality to strangers, the Gladeguards make a personal priority to safeguard the lands and territory of the Gladekeeper. Though they have many Plague dragons in their ranks, often the warriors in the group clash with the rival Flight over territory disputes. The Gladekeeper gave them a place to care for their motley crew of rejects, and her caring nature inspired their will to protect their land and governing deity at all costs.

However, there are rumblings in the Gladeguard clan among some members that want to seek peace with the Plague battalions. These members take frequent trips to the Pox Consulate, in secret and disapproved-of meetings with like-minded Plague drifters who dream of an end to the constant wars.

Oriasis, the patriarch, has a split mind on the issue. He is too old and jaded to think that peace among all members of both Flights is possible, but he fights when needed and makes peace when he can. He and the original members of the clan still retain the detachment common to Wind dragons, where the clan began, but they are sympathetic to the passion of the younger Nature-born and nurtured dragons and will help how they can.
