Asarath's Clan

Welcome to Clan Asarath, or the Migrants of the Waving Wood. We are an eclectic group of dragons who travel through the swaying reeds of the Zephyr Steppes. Here, there is no single leader. Although the clan is technically lead by Dolorosa, every member of the clan has an equal say. When every hatchling comes of age, they are awarded a feathered pinion, representing the fact that although you are individually unique and beautiful, you can't fly by yourself.

This clan is a strong practitioner of magic, and those most skilled have adapted the ability to turn into a humanoid form. Those able to use those forms utilize them while migrating across Sornieth, letting them carry less. As humanoids, the clan needs only to carry several yurts small enough to fit on the back of an imperial.

Clan Asteridge makes a permanent home in the Zephyr Steppes, where those too young, old, or sick stay while the rest of the clan journeys through Sornieth. Nomadic trips are only occasional, as the trip through all the flights takes two years for the Migrants.
