[This is an exalting lair.]

The hot, noxious fumes of the air stir the dusty landscape. From somewhere close comes the sickly trickle of contaminated water. The nearby glow of the Wyrmwound turns the sky a dayglo orange.

Deep, in the infected heart of the Scarred Wasteland.

A few waxy Fae nests cling to the strange vein-like rock walls like pustules. There are a cluster of caves dug into this section of the inner rim. Ivory buildings carved from bone and sun-bleached stone stand in formations around cracked earth streets. The very air here seems to pulse, like the throbbing headache of a fever. Despite the sickness that lays draped like a blanket over the area, there are dragons in this Plagueish city, industriously going about their business.

I would be careful about getting too close, if I were you - but then again, if you've made it this far then perhaps this is exactly where you belong.
