The clan lair is built into the ground to protect it from the volatile environment and keep its inhabitants safe.
Nests are located deep in the lair and are heavily guarded by all members of the clan.
The Midnight Crew exists as its own subclan. They have a separate den apart from the main lair, though they regularly interact with members.
In order to become a member of the crew, a dragon must renounce her previous heritage and cut all ties with any family or friends. It isn't known exactly what other initiation rituals take place, as the crew is notoriously secretive.
The clan itself is quite religious, and many of its members take it upon themselves to pledge their service to the Flamecaller. The sudden departure often comes suddenly to both the clan and the dragon themself.
