Whether Tundras belong in the Sunbeam Ruins?
Objection 1. It would seem that Tundras do not belong in the Sunbeam Ruins. Dragons of the same breed should remain together, for it is said, "birds of a feather flock together", and so Tundras should remain in the Southern Icefield.
Objection 2. Further, it is plain from a Tundra's physiology that they are meant for colder climes; a Tundra never grows its winter coat in the Sunbeam Ruins.
Objection 3. Further, Tundras are reckoned "not the brightest", and the Sunbeam Ruins are for scholarly dragons.
On the contrary, it is said, "home is where the heart is", and therefore any dragons who delight in the Sunbeam Ruins belong there.
I answer that, because any of the four species of progenitor dragons may form a lair in any of the regions of the world, Tundras do indeed belong in the Sunbeam Ruins.
Reply to Objection 1. It is also said, "blood is thicker than water", that is, that those who have sworn a blood oath together are more tightly bound than those merely from the same womb (an organ found in non-egg-laying animals, where offspring grow before hatching and then exiting the mother's body). Surely commonality of purpose is as much being "of a feather" as commonality of breed.
Reply to Objection 2. That a Tundra may adjust its coat for its climate indicates that they are meant to adapt to wherever they choose to live.
Reply to Objection 3. A scholar's strength is in diligence and curiosity, more than in quickness of mind; and no doubt some of the perception of dullness comes from the Tundras' purely vegetarian diet, which surely does not appeal to the other breeds, all of which eat some meat.
