Clan Chaos is an exalting lair. I buy cheap dragons, and hatchlings to flip as well. Anything without a familiar is exalt fodder.

Caitiri woke up one day, looked around the Ashfall Wastes and decided she'd had enough. She poked Venkelos awake told him that she missed the fetid mess of The Wyrmwound and they were leaving. Not really having an opinion Venkelos pretty much shrugged and said "Why not". They packed up their clan of strays and misfits, made the difficult trek to Rotrock Rim found a pleasing area and staked their claim.

After a time The Oracle, Selnath, arrived. She spoke to Caitiri and Venkelos in private, hours then days passed as Clan Chaos waited to find out what was going on. Caitiri met all who brought them food and drink at the opening of the Judgement cavern letting no one enter. Koriha and Gealach, who had been with the clan for years, guarded the opening making sure no one came to close.

Four days in total passed before Caitiri and Venkelos exited the cavern with Selnath, The Oracle.

"Clan Chaos," Caitiri spoke, "We have been gifted with a Greater Purpose. The Oracle has arrived and she comes bearing a gift bestowed upon her by the Gods. We are to host her, serve her, for her Greater Purpose is to benefit us all."

The members of Clan Chaos murmured among themselves, excited and fearful - some filled with doubt as they listened to their leaders.

"Many will come here, traveling far - some will belong to other regions and many will not serve our Great and Vile God, The Plaguebringer. We will welcome these Pilgrims for they, like us, seek knowledge that will give their lives meaning."

When Caitiri finished Clan Chaos roared and trumpeted their approval, many were pleased that the Gods favored them with this duty. Others, though they were few, felt fear strike their hearts. Not knowing what to do they play acted the part of believers while waiting and watching. Even fewer were the ones who left the clan or decided it was time to meet their God.

Ischemia Lair, the clan of Caitiri's birth, isn't far and they frequently trade hatchlings. Hesper, Ischemia's Alpha, is an ally, friend and confidante whose advice on how to thrive in The Scarred Wasteland was invaluable.

I'm thrilled to see Eyeburner get a home! He was just part of a year-long breeding project I finally finished and I was honestly expecting to end up exalting most of them.
