Clan Info
about.
As a clan of keen observers, avid readers, and impartial writers, House Riordan exists to serve the Shadowbinder through its words, both written and whispered. Located deep within the Wispwillow Grove, House Riordan's headquarters is the hollow remains of a colossal redwood. Known as the Spire by the denizens of the Tangled Wood, this once living tree is now completely petrified, making it a perfect place for their base of operations. It is here that the members of the clan perform most of their duties, from sorting through the Shadowbinder's mail to compiling sensitive information for future use. |

I've tried questionnaires for the heck of it, but they're not as effective (at least, not for me) as when I "wing" things. My brain is like a high-powered random OC generator; characters are born sporadically and without warning, with an average of three to four new characters every two days or so. All I have to do is focus on an OC for a few minutes and talk about them, and everything -- from the fine points of their personality all the way down to their history -- just comes spewing out all at once. Seriously, stories have never been difficult for me to churn out once I've roped someone into listening to me.
Over the years, I've created a plethora of morally ambiguous characters because of my personality, but I've also had plenty of experience creating other types of characters. It all just depends on five questions -- "who are you?", "who are you not?", "how can I change you?", "where will you go?", and "why?"

I am just being honest! I don't...really get out and comment/compliment people enough. It's something this site can always use more of. I was looking at your dragons on the Free Sketches thread in CC. Cleopatra, Antony, Ophelia, Hamlet. So gorgeous.
I just saw a post you made with some of your dragons and I started crying instantly from how beautiful they were.
N'er-do-well
