My Flight Rising Headcanons
- Dragons that have the Ripple/Current genes, often get mistaken for trees by baby fae. These baby fae proceed to try and build sap nests on these dragons. These dragons often leave the forests with a DIY Gembond.
- A group of fae is a swarm. There are various swarms of varying culture, tradition, and lineage. Certain swarms are migrational, or nomadic. These swarms often "adopt" a large non-fae dragon as a host to carry them large distances much faster. These hosts are most often Imperials, their manes offering a comfortable journey for sleeping faelings.
- Buttersnakes often perceive themselves to be fae dragons, and try to flaunt their fancy wings in front of any fae they encounter, in an attempt to impress them and be welcomed into the swarm.
- The fae often welcome these buttersnakes because they greatly enjoy the happy little dancing sneks, as well as the insects that these colorful snakes attract. The result is a symbiotic relationship where the snakes get protection from predatory birds, and the fae get plenty more bugs to eat coming to inspect the strange colorful dancing flowers.
