It had been many weeks of traveling for Paurous and Vecna. They had been searching for a place for their clan-to-be to call home... but, early one morning of searching, the pair found something amazing.

"Hey Vecna!" the black Guardian called to his mate. "You have to come take a look at this."

Vecna came trotting on over to him. "What is it, what did you fin- oh wow...

Before them stood a massive grove of trees, the green leaves tinted with hints of red, orange, and gold. The forest seemed to glow in the early morning light...

"It's amazing..." Vecna said, almost to herself. "I thi- I think we could make this the home of our clan. But what should we call this place?"

Paurous was quiet for a minute before he replied to her. "Redgrove... Clan Redgrove. That's what we should call it."

Vecna smiled at him. "I like that. Shall we go and explore the interior a bit?"

Paurous nodded, and together, the pair headed into the grove of trees...

Further back into the forest was a huge cavern, filled with glowing crystals on the stone walls. In the center of the room, a torrent of water was crashing down from a river that flowed on the land above the cavern. The water fell down into a shallow pool... flowers and other plants were growing all around the interior of the cavern, seeming to glow in the light of the crystals.

"Wow..." was all Paurous could say, yet he knew in his heart that this was going to be the start of something great...
