They were never meant to live for long.
Outcast from their original clans for one reason or another, left with nothing else to do but to wander and wander, never daring to try and join another clan because of the what-ifs and the uncertainty of how long they would be able to stay for.
Still, perhaps fate had looked down kindly on them. For, one by one, they met each other on the road. Forming closer bonds, establishing deep friendships. Eventually, one of them had an idea.
‘What if we made a clan for those like us?’
The others were all in agreement to that. Though they had changed and moved on from their pasts, they all remembered their former lives painfully, and if they could save others from having to suffer the same fate for long… it would be wonderful.
And so, their clan was made. It was a clan that was founded through shared ideas, a clan that would accept others like them, outcasts with nowhere else to turn and nothing left to go back to.
A clan that could be called home.
