💧🌿The Mermaid's Grove🌿💧

A beautiful sparkling pool, hidden within the water-full forests, its banks overhanging with willows. Dragons sleep and graze here, making their home in this heavenly grove. A Mermaid lives in the pool, taking care of them and the magickal powers flowing through the Lair. Her name is Cassinia.

Even though Maren traditionally feud with the dragons, the ones who occupy the lakes and rivers next to the Mermaid's Grove have learned to love and respect the gentle dragons that live there. The dragons themselves, at least those who join the clan and are not born into it, are wary of the Maren - they know their vicious reputation and don't want any confrontations. But when Tsalini introduces them to Cassinia, the Mermaid who lives in the pools of the Grove, they normally relax. Cassinia is old and was the first creature to take care of the Grove before Tsalini came to live there. Because of her age and wisdom (Maren live for incredible lengths and never seem to age because of how long all processes take) the dragons feel protected and safe where she is. Yound Maren who don't want anything to do with the hostility of their race tell each other stories of a hidden underwater passage that will lead from the ocean to a hidden Grove in the Viridian Labyrinth, where they can live freely among dragons and like minded kin.
