There must have been a conflict here, once. Relics of tragedy lay consumed in moss, the last remains of deep anger long buried in the earth. The dragons pay no attention to the petty human battles of long past. They know it never mattered in the first place. The clearing was here long before the war, and will be here for a long time yet. To the Clan, it is simply home.
