LORE The world that lies before you was once one of light. Dragons lived in peace and safety for many centuries. But an immortal truth of life is that nothing will ever last forever. Once the dust settled, there was little left. Those who remained re-named this world the 'Realm of Dust', as that was all they were left with. Over time, the remaining Dragons from the 'Time Before Dust' re-built civilisation. Over time, Dragons were able to re-built some semblance of the lost ecosystem. The Dragons who exist here now live in a shaky balance with nature and the universe. Though they are thankful for what they have been able to recover of the past, the truth of life still hangs above their heads. Nothing will ever last forever, so if you want to be remembered, you'd better get someone to write your story down. This realm was almost lost to time, as there was no-one there to write its story. So now, the Realm of Dust is filled with dedicated scribes and writers, invested in documenting the lives, legends and adventures of the world. |
