THE CAVERN OF CREEPING VINES

As you step through the thick foliage of the Behemoth, soft ivy and trembling jungle lilies brushing your sides, you feel a refreshing, cool mist of a nearby waterfall against your skin. The clear water rushes over moss-covered traprocks that are covered in local wildlife: balsas anoles basking in the thin strips of sunlight that break through the canopy above, writhing treesnakes that dangle comfortably from the branches of trees rich with life. The whispering chirp of seasparrows play a joyful melody, enriched only by gentle splashes as they leap playfully from the rushing water.

Before you, as though anticipating your arrival, vines and branches slowly snake from the surrounding riverbed, braiding into a bridge just wide enough to permit passage. Wind rustles the leaves ahead, carrying you forward, and though you hesitate, the makeshift bridge holds you steady. You feel safe, invited, like the emerald world around you is holding you in a warm embrace.

A wall of vines that you hadn't noticed to the side of the glistening waterfall begin to fold away, shriveling around the two large trees that rise like monoliths on either side of the new opening.

Within, a wide cavern greets you, torches flickering and casting dancing shadows over damp walls, and the friendly voice of a colorful Imperial greets you:

"Welcome to our home, wanderer."
