The glow of magma bouncing off the constant overcast of smoke and soot bathes the entire region in an endless twilight.

The settlement was recently destroyed by authorities because it housed a cult abandoned, and even more recently repopulated by opportunists.

Ostensibly the land now belongs to Faire by proxy of Rhys and is in the process of becoming a waypoint/rest area for Faire's mercenery peers but also the stragglers of that cult keep popping up now that the coast is clear.
