Our flames burn bright, but still our hearts are rotten.

Faith waning, Darkness encroaching, Septicemia, as it was known, is no more.

Broken and afraid the survivors fled Seraffos descent into madness. Desperately needing someplace to escape his virus, his corruption... Someplace they could start anew, a place to forget the tragedy that wracked their home.

So they ran and ran, leaving everything they had behind. Some members even falling from the corruption weeks after they were exposed. Slow and agonizing, a pain shared among the clan.

After weeks they saw it, the immaculate glow of the Great Furnace. Tears flowed uninterrupted from they eyes of dragons young and old.

And at that moment they knew they were safe, truly safe...

...Or so they thought.
