An attack on a small village called Aëleir happened several years ago, everyone was thought to have been wiped out. But a only a few had survived. Azarath was one of them, she was hidden in a well which was covered over by some pieces of metal her mother and father had used to hide her. After all the screams and fire had died down she crawled out and saw nothing but her burned village.

Years passed and Azarath had traveled along Soreinth, searchin for any survivors. And for the people who destroyed the place she once called home. Along her travels, she meets an elder and a youngling named Torraine and Aldwyn who also lived in her village and survived the attack. The three continued to travel along Soreinth, after many years many joined them and soon the Hellfire's Shadow Legion had been born. Making Azarath their leader.

Not long after the new clan was born, Aldwyn had found traces of the same dragons that had attacked their village all those years ago. Telling their leader, Azarath had decided to take on these group of dragons in a gruesome fight. After a long and tiring battle Hellfire's Shadow came out successful in destroying the group of dragons who destroyed Aëleir. Now the Hellfire's Shadow are a group of dragon mercenaries and bounty hunters, a few assassins as well. They go off on adventures with groups of fellow dragons or on their own.

In their spare time or whenever they relax, they hang out at the Hyacinth Moon Cafe where they order many drinks and snacks. They share their stories and sing and dance for people, hoping to recruit some new dragons into the Hellfire's Shadow.
